Location:

• Jacksonville, Florida

Duties:

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Take and defend depositions, conduct mediations, and represent clients in hearings and trials

• Perform legal research and prepare for hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings

• Analyze complex legal matters and provide sound counsel to clients

• Negotiate settlements and manage client expectations

• Collaborate with legal teams including paralegals and fellow attorneys

• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files

• Ensure billable hour goals are met consistently

• Perform additional legal duties as required

Requirements:

• Active Bar license in Florida and/or Georgia

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Commitment to meeting billing expectations and deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Florida and/or Georgia (must be active and in good standing)

Skills:

• Legal drafting and litigation strategy

• Oral advocacy and client communication

• Case and time management

• Legal research and analysis

• Negotiation and dispute resolution

• Collaborative team approach and proactive mindset
