Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Immigration Attorney with 1–5 years of experience to focus on EOIR matters, including removal defense, family-based immigration, and detained representation. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a supportive legal environment while managing a meaningful caseload and collaborating with a team of experienced immigration attorneys and legal assistants.

Location:

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

• Represent detained and non-detained clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)

• Conduct legal consultations and provide strategic immigration guidance to potential clients

• Prepare a wide range of immigration applications including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and USCIS filings

• Draft and submit legal briefs, motions, and other filings before EOIR and BIA

• Visit detention centers to perform client intakes and case assessments

• Develop legal strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and USCIS interviews

• Monitor legal and procedural developments relevant to immigration and removal defense

• Collaborate with community partners, prosecutors, and law enforcement on legal matters and public education

• Maintain timely communication with clients and manage deadlines across multiple active cases

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure case efficiency and legal compliance

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience practicing immigration law, particularly in EOIR and removal defense

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full caseload

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to collaborative legal work

• Experience handling family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, detained cases, and citizenship applications

• Familiarity with legal case management systems preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state

• Active and in good standing with a state bar

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients
