Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Immigration Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role provides a dynamic opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving detained and non-detained clients, removal defense, and family-based immigration petitions. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate closely with other attorneys and legal support staff.

Location:

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

• Develop case strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony before immigration courts and USCIS

• Represent clients—both detained and non-detained—in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals

• Conduct intake and interviews with detained individuals in detention centers

• Draft, file, and review a variety of immigration applications, including family-based petitions and humanitarian relief

• Revise and finalize immigration packets prepared by legal staff

• Provide legal consultations to potential clients and determine case viability and strategy

• Prepare and submit legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents

• Liaise with community organizations, law enforcement, and government agencies regarding immigration law developments

• Maintain accurate case documentation and manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience practicing immigration law

• Demonstrated experience with EOIR, detained clients, USCIS applications, and family-based immigration matters

• Ability to manage multiple active cases and meet deadlines

• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills

• High-level interpersonal and client communication abilities

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required)

• Experience using case management software (preferred)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction
