Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Immigration Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role provides a dynamic opportunity to work on a diverse caseload involving detained and non-detained clients, removal defense, and family-based immigration petitions. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of the Managing Immigration Attorney and collaborate closely with other attorneys and legal support staff.

Duties:
Develop case strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony before immigration courts and USCIS
Represent clients—both detained and non-detained—in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
Conduct intake and interviews with detained individuals in detention centers
Draft, file, and review a variety of immigration applications, including family-based petitions and humanitarian relief
Revise and finalize immigration packets prepared by legal staff
Provide legal consultations to potential clients and determine case viability and strategy
Prepare and submit legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents
Liaise with community organizations, law enforcement, and government agencies regarding immigration law developments
Maintain accurate case documentation and manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience practicing immigration law
Demonstrated experience with EOIR, detained clients, USCIS applications, and family-based immigration matters
Ability to manage multiple active cases and meet deadlines
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
High-level interpersonal and client communication abilities
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, not required)
Experience using case management software (preferred)
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction
Skills:
