Location:

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties:

• Draft high-quality memorandums, appeals, and legal briefs for EOIR, BIA, and federal appellate courts

• Prepare and file motions to reopen in complex immigration cases

• Handle cases involving Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and incorporate findings into litigation strategy

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support nuanced appellate arguments

• Maintain organized and compliant case files, documentation, and court records

• Stay current on changes in immigration law relevant to appeals and federal litigation

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal assistants to develop winning case strategies

• Communicate case updates and legal options to clients clearly and professionally

• Support firmwide legal writing initiatives and help elevate the quality of submissions

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of experience in immigration law with a focus on appellate writing and litigation

• Demonstrated success drafting legal documents for EOIR, BIA, and federal courts

• Experience with motions to reopen and FOIA-related legal analysis

• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple cases with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to legal accuracy

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas

• Experience with legal case management software preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state

• Active and in good standing with applicable state bar

Skills:

• Advanced legal writing and research capabilities
