Duties

• Defend clients and insurance carriers in civil litigation matters.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and argue motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Evaluate exposure, negotiate settlements, and secure settlement authority.
• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate on case strategy.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
• Strong written, oral, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.

Education
