Job Overview:
A well-regarded national law firm is seeking a seasoned Labor & Employment Attorney with over 10 years of experience in employment litigation for its Indianapolis, Indiana office. This position is designed for a senior attorney with significant experience managing litigation matters, supervising other attorneys, and handling complex employment disputes. The role does not require business development responsibilities and offers a hybrid work schedule along with a competitive compensation package.

Location:

• Indianapolis, Indiana

Duties:

• Oversee employment litigation matters and supervise junior attorneys

• Draft and argue summary judgment motions and other key pleadings

• Participate in all phases of litigation, including depositions, motions practice, and trials

• Work closely with legal teams on case strategy and execution

• Provide guidance on legal issues related to employment law compliance and disputes

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in employment litigation

• Demonstrated experience supervising litigation teams and junior attorneys

• Experience drafting and arguing summary judgment motions

• Some trial experience preferred

• Must reside in Indiana and be licensed to practice in the state

• Licensure in Kentucky and/or Ohio is a plus

• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong academic record preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Indiana

• Additional bar admissions in Kentucky or Ohio (preferred but not required)

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to supervise and mentor attorneys effectively

• Sound judgment and strategic thinking in litigation matters

• Strong organizational and project management abilities
