Location:

Duties:

• Handle family law cases, including divorce, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, child support modifications, and related matters.

• Manage litigation from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and motions.

• Represent clients in court and during hearings.

• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.

• Brief and argue discovery and dispositive motions.

• Attend mediations and work with opposing counsel.

• Interface with clients to provide updates and guidance on case developments.

• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience handling family law litigation matters.

• Experience preparing for and handling depositions, briefing and arguing motions, and attending mediations.

• Trial experience is a plus.

• Expertise in analyzing, researching, and drafting legal briefs and pleadings for complex family law matters.

• Strong ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with colleagues.

• Client-focused mindset with a passion for achieving successful outcomes.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar license with the State Bar of California.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.

• Proficient in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

• Ability to handle complex family law cases with a client-centered approach.

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
