Location:

Duties:

• Independently manage a caseload involving medical malpractice defense litigation

• Represent clients in court, including trials and motion practice

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Collaborate with partners, associates, and legal support teams on case strategies

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Provide regular case updates and legal advice to clients

• Ensure timely and efficient case resolution in accordance with client goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of trial experience, including verdict-level litigation

• Demonstrated expertise in defending medical malpractice claims

• Strong working knowledge of New York court procedures and rules of evidence

• Experience managing high-stakes litigation independently

• Ability to develop case strategies and assess risk effectively

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (Required)
