A law firm seeks an Electrical Patent Attorney - Associate in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled Patent Attorney to join a dynamic team.

Duties

• Prosecute patent applications for leading global technology companies.
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals.
• Conduct case discussions with clients.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in patent law.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and/or Master of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
• One to three years of substantial patent prosecution experience as a licensed patent attorney in the technical field of semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunication, digital/analog signal processing, artificial intelligence, software, and/or circuit design.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluency in Taiwanese Mandarin and extensive knowledge of Taiwan business culture strongly preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.

Certifications

• USPTO registration.
