Duties

• Efficient and strategic patent prosecution
• Build relationships with USPTO examiners
• Manage patent portfolios
• Develop relationships with in-house counsel
• Understand client business objectives and align IP strategies
• Engage in client management and development
• Work directly with clients from day one

Requirements

• Technical background in fields such as electrical engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry, semiconductors, or medical devices
• 5+ years of experience in patent application preparation and/or prosecution
• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active member of the bar in good standing

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the state of practice
