Duties

• Prepare diligently for and attend local court appearances, ensuring timely and precise handling of legal proceedings.

• Coordinate substitute arrangements when personal appearances are not possible, including proper documentation and scheduling of necessary orders.

• Draft, review, and file mid-litigation motions and responses as required throughout the legal process.

• Prepare for and participate in trials or arbitrations, which may involve travel and overnight stays in designated areas.

• Engage in direct communication with clients, employers, other legal professionals, and involved parties to resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington; additional licensure in other states is advantageous.

• Consistently punctual and able to reliably travel to various court locations, including overnight trips if needed.

• Possess a strong capacity for managing multiple cases simultaneously, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the State of Washington’s Bar is required.
