A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate in New York. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team specializing in complex financial transactions across various industries globally. This role involves working with a collaborative group of over 125 lawyers across multiple continents.

Duties

• Represent issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in public offerings and private placements.
• Ensure compliance with the 1933 Act and 1934 Act in securities offerings.
• Participate as a key member of deal teams, managing transactions from due diligence to closing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of capital markets experience.
• Experience with business development companies and 1940 Act funds is advantageous.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
