Duties

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters for a range of clients.
• Draft and argue pleadings, including complaints, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment motions.
• Assist with applications for temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions.
• Take and defend depositions and work with expert witnesses.
• Support litigation involving managed care issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, and ERISA-related disputes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm.
• Experience with managed care, ERISA, or related litigation preferred.
• Experience drafting and arguing contested motions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New York Bar.
