Duties

• Manage a caseload involving divorce, child custody, support, and equitable distribution matters

• Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies tailored to client needs

• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations

• Negotiate settlements in contested and high-conflict family law cases

• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with clients throughout the legal process

• Collaborate with partners and other team members to ensure comprehensive case management and optimal outcomes

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience practicing family and matrimonial law in New York

• Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience

• Proven ability to manage complex, high-net-worth divorce and custody matters

• Client-focused and compassionate approach

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of New York
