Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A law firm in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will primarily focus on insurance coverage matters, while also assisting with other business litigation cases. Responsibilities include providing counsel and litigation support, drafting legal documents, participating in depositions and trials, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage matters, possess strong research and writing skills, and be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Duties:

• Assist lead attorneys in handling all aspects of counseling and litigation.
• Prepare insurance coverage opinion letters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
• Participate in depositions and trial preparation.
• Present motions and assist in dispositive motions practice.
• Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage matters preferred; business litigation experience considered.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania.
