Duties

• Draft residential lease amendments and addenda.
• Address residential landlord-tenant disputes.
• Prepare residential lease reviews.
• Consult on state and local landlord compliance topics.
• Educate and answer questions for property owners and managers.
• Participate in industry organizations to enhance firm visibility.
• Contribute to a positive working environment.
• Support legal and management goals as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. and active California Bar license.
• 2+ years of experience in landlord/tenant law.
• Experience in residential real estate and unlawful detainer law.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines independently and in a team.
• Preferred: Experience in affordable housing and California Tenant Protection Act.

Education

• Graduate degree in law.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
