Location:

• White Plains, New York

Duties:

• Conduct file reviews and provide detailed legal analysis of claims and causes of action

• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs

• Represent clients regularly in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Handle expert witness retention and collaboration

• Prepare for and attend trials

• Meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours

• Travel as needed for case requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in General Liability; Insurance Defense Litigation experience is a plus

• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong legal research and drafting abilities

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• Ability to self-manage workload and operate efficiently in a collaborative environment

• Prompt responsiveness to emails and telephone communications

• Excellent client service skills and professional telephone manner

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York

• Admission in Connecticut is a plus but not required
