Litigation and Insurance Coverage Attorney

A law firm in Morristown is seeking a Litigation and Insurance Coverage Attorney with 3+ years of experience in handling insurance coverage and defense litigation in both federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York. New Jersey Bar admission is required, with New York Bar admission being a plus.

Job Duties:

• Handle preparation and trial of insurance coverage and defense litigation cases
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage matters
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and management
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar; admission to the New York Bar is a plus
• 3+ years of experience handling insurance coverage and defense litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
