Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Real Estate Attorney with a focus on agricultural and/or timber matters for its Portland, Oregon office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic real estate practice, contributing to a diverse range of projects and industries.

Duties

• Handle real estate transactions and due diligence, including title review.
• Draft and negotiate operating contracts and conservation easements.
• Engage in business development within natural resource-related industries.
• Manage complex transactions and prepare client-ready documents.
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of legal experience in real estate.
• Experience in agricultural and/or timber matters preferred.
• Client service mindset with strong entrepreneurial skills.
• Experience in one of the firm's key industries preferred.
• Some portable book of business is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar, or eligibility for reciprocity.

Skills

• Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
