Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This full-time position is ideal for attorneys with 3–5 years of experience in immigration law, particularly in removal defense and family-based immigration. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, advocate for detained and non-detained clients, and collaborate with a skilled team of attorneys and legal assistants in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Duties:
Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony in court and USCIS interviews
Conduct legal analysis to identify available relief and benefits under immigration law
Draft and submit immigration applications, motions, and legal briefs
Manage a full caseload independently and track all deadlines
Conduct intake interviews with detained clients at detention centers
Meet with prospective clients for consultations and develop strategic plans
Maintain communication with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community partners
Review and revise client filings for completeness and accuracy
Stay informed of changes in immigration law and procedures
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience practicing immigration law
Proven ability to manage a caseload and move cases forward efficiently
Willingness to travel locally to detention facilities as needed
Strong commitment to immigrant advocacy and client service
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to casework
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction
California Bar admission preferred but not required
Skills:
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Experience with family-based, humanitarian, EOIR, detained, and naturalization cases
Proficiency with immigration case management software is a plus
