The role involves handling corporate governance and appraisal matters, primarily within the Delaware Court of Chancery and other courts across the country. Duties
- Conduct research and draft documents related to key litigation issues.
- Perform privilege reviews, determine applicability, and prepare privilege logs.
- Undertake factual research to support litigation cases.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including document requests, interrogatories, requests for admission, and deposition notices.
- Assist with deposition preparation, attend depositions, and analyze transcripts for relevant information.
- Participate in trial preparation, mediation, and settlement activities.
- Draft complaints, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate governance and related legal matters (Class of 2018-2020).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law, with preference for admission to the Delaware Bar or eligibility to practice in Delaware.
