Job Overview

A law firm seeks multiple associates to join the Business Litigation practice group in Philadelphia, PA. The associates will perform legal work under the supervision of partners, focusing on shareholder disputes, fraud allegations, breach of fiduciary duty, and securities class actions.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for litigation cases.
• Conduct discovery and analyze large volumes of documents.
• Ensure compliance with civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Attend client meetings, depositions, and trials.
• Produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs.
• Develop client relationships and provide legal counsel.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.

Requirements

• Knowledge of federal securities laws and regulations.
• Understanding of corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing tools.
• Familiarity with SEC rules and corporate compliance.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
• Ability to telecommute up to 40%.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Education

• Juris Doctor (or foreign equivalent) in Law.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (or willing to obtain).
