Duties

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in New York, with eligibility in federal court.

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience handling tort matters.

• Familiarity with New York procedural law, pretrial strategies, and discovery practice.

• Interest in trial work and courtroom advocacy; prior trial exposure preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

• Admission to U.S. District Courts in New York preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of premises liability, construction site accidents, elevator accidents, motor vehicle liability, products liability, industrial and municipal liability, contractual indemnity, wrongful death, and complex damages.

• Legal writing and oral advocacy skills, including experience or coursework in trial advocacy or moot court.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Technological proficiency in litigation software and digital workflows.

• Strong organization and time management.
