A law firm in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Lateral Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney with top academic credentials and a minimum of 3 years of Commercial Real Estate experience. The ideal candidate should have a track record of high achievement, strong writing skills, exceptional analytical abilities, and the desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment as part of a collaborative team. Experience in a law firm with a substantial Commercial Real Estate practice is preferred. The role involves handling various sophisticated real estate transactions, including purchases, leasing, finance, and more.

Duties:

• Work on complex Commercial Real Estate matters, including purchases, leasing, finance, and related transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to provide high-quality legal services.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and document drafting.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all legal work.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of Commercial Real Estate experience.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent references.
• Admission to the state bar.
• Detail-oriented and conscientious work ethic.
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills.
• Experience in a law firm with a substantial Commercial Real Estate practice is preferred.
• Attorneys licensed outside Louisiana who wish to move back to the state are welcome to apply.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
