Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to construction defect cases.
• Assist in drafting various legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
• Actively participate in case strategy meetings and client consultations.
• Represent clients during mediation sessions, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners on case management and strategic planning.
• Review and evaluate construction contracts, building codes, and pertinent documentation.
• Conduct thorough site inspections and investigations regarding construction defect claims.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders involved in litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
• 1-6 years of relevant experience in legal practice, preferably focusing on construction defect litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with construction law and building codes is advantageous.

Education:
