Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and secured transaction matters.
• Handle case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Assist in strategy development and advise clients on legal issues.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize online filing systems and research tools to gather case-related information.
• Provide support in trial preparation and attend hearings, depositions, and other proceedings.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and resolve legal issues.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and/or secured transactions.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with online filing systems and research platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and understand new information.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in).

Skills:

• Expertise in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and secured transactions.
