A well-established law firm specializing in insurance coverage disputes is looking to hire a Senior Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm’s practice primarily focuses on advising policyholders and litigating against insurance carriers.

Duties:

• Handle complex litigation related to insurance coverage disputes in both state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take depositions and manage motion practice.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, fostering direct interaction and communication.
• Provide legal counsel on various insurance coverage matters, including policy placement, renewals, and drafting policy language.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall litigation strategy and case management.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts, with a focus on complex insurance claims.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to address complex legal challenges.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• High level of personal responsibility, integrity, and work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including time management and project coordination.
• Prior experience in insurance coverage or construction litigation is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
