Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including pre-litigation phases of personal injury cases
• Conduct in-depth legal research and collect pertinent evidence to support client cases
• Draft essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and agreements to resolve client issues
• Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and available options
• Develop and implement strategies for resolving legal disputes effectively
• Manage multiple cases at once, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely resolution

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar membership
• At least 3 years of experience in personal injury law (preferred)
• Proven ability to handle pre-litigation cases and negotiate favorable outcomes
• Strong understanding of legal procedures, including case management and court rules
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced legal environment

Education:

• Doctoral degree (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California State Bar License

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and settlement skills
• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively
