Location

• Basking Ridge, NJ

Duties

• Propose litigation strategies and manage cyber and data privacy cases

• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel

• Draft reports, pleadings, discovery documents, and motions

• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials

• Provide legal counsel on cyber incident response, including crisis management and regulatory compliance

• Assist clients with investigations related to data breaches and privacy issues

• Collaborate with a global team on cyber and data privacy matters

Requirements

• Litigation attorneys: 3-6 years of relevant experience in cyber and data privacy law

• Incident response attorneys: 2-4 years of experience handling cyber incidents and regulatory investigations

• Experience in insurance-related matters preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications

• CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) preferred but not required

• Additional cybersecurity or data privacy certifications are a plus
