Duties:

• Manage in-office real estate closings for residential and commercial transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances

• Conduct comprehensive title examinations and resolve title issues as needed

• Collaborate closely with lenders, real estate brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure smooth transaction processes

• Prepare and review legal documentation, such as deeds, leases, contracts, and loan packages

• Provide clear and professional guidance to clients, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed throughout the closing process

• Oversee review of settlement statements and authorize disbursement of funds

• Foster and maintain long-term business relationships to support firm growth initiatives

• Lead educational sessions and training workshops for potential clients and community partners in areas relevant to real estate law

Requirements:

• Practical experience in residential real estate closings preferred

• Active membership in good standing with the South Carolina Bar

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to prompt client responsiveness

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build meaningful client and community relationships

• Motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a residential real estate focus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
