A prominent personal injury law firm in Decatur, GA, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury litigation, including trial experience, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Location:

• Decatur, GA

Duties:

• Lead and manage personal injury litigation cases from initial filing to final resolution

• Serve as first or second chair during trials, including trial preparation, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy

• Oversee and mentor a team of paralegals, case managers, and other legal staff

• Develop case strategies and make critical decisions to drive cases forward

• Manage a significant caseload and participate in performance-based bonus opportunities

• Engage in client development, attracting new clients, and building long-term relationships

• Provide leadership within a dynamic, collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 personal injury jury trials handled as first or second chair (Required)

• Strong experience in bench trials, motions, mediation, and arbitration (Required)

• Experience in appellate work and drafting appellate briefs (Preferred)

• Membership in The State Bar of Georgia (Required)

• Additional bar memberships are advantageous

• Bachelor's degree with a JD, LLM, or JSD (Required)

• Strong written and oral communication skills (Required)

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and negotiation (Required)

• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team (Required)

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (Required)

• A strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving optimal results in litigation (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Membership in The State Bar of Georgia (Required)
