A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney for its Sioux Falls, SD office. This role requires relocation from the Des Moines, IA area. The firm specializes in estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and legacy planning, serving family businesses and farms.

Duties

• Consult with prospective clients to achieve a high client retention rate.
• Draft and review estate planning documents.
• Manage estate administration and probate matters.
• Oversee office staff in client support and document preparation.
• Serve as a resource for staff questions.
• Participate in firm marketing efforts and present at seminars.
• Evaluate client consultations to improve service quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Participate in or lead staff meetings.
• Complete a minimum of 36 CLE hours annually.
• Maintain an active South Dakota bar license.

Requirements

• Experience in estate planning, trust administration, and business succession planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to explain estate planning concepts clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
