Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its team in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The successful candidate will independently manage a diverse caseload, provide strategic legal guidance, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties

• Independently manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Perform detailed analysis of insurance policies to determine coverage obligations.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey state and federal court.
• Experience with New Jersey State and Federal Rules of Court.
• Bench and jury trial experience is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills

• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with trial court and appellate court oral argument.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
