A global law firm is seeking a Legal Review Attorney to join its Digital Legal Delivery team in New York. This role is part of a forward-thinking practice that leverages legal expertise and technology to support high-volume, complex litigation and investigations. The position focuses on document review and analysis for disputes, internal investigations, and regulatory matters, working closely with managers and legal professionals across the firm's global network.

Duties

• Conduct document reviews and due diligence for discovery, investigations, and trial preparation

• Apply legal knowledge to assess privilege, relevance, confidentiality, and data protection issues

• Perform quality control checks and provide feedback to reviewers to ensure compliance with review standards

• Support global legal teams and collaborate with other practice groups across jurisdictions

• Maintain accurate time records and adhere to internal timekeeping requirements

• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in litigation, investigations, and eDiscovery

• Assist with additional client matters and internal projects as needed

Requirements

• 3–5 years of post-graduate experience in litigation or investigative legal matters

• Prior experience in a commercial legal environment, ideally within a law firm

• Proficiency with document review platforms, such as Relativity

• Demonstrated ability to assess and apply legal privilege, confidentiality, and protection standards

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled legal practice

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing

Skills

• Strong legal analysis and decision-making abilities

• Familiarity with large-scale document review processes

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality control

• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across locations and time zones

• Fluency in Spanish (preferred but not required), especially for business/legal contexts
