Job Title: Litigation Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Dublin, Ohio, is looking to onboard a seasoned Family Law Litigation Attorney. The role involves representing clients through sensitive and complex legal issues involving family dynamics, while being supported by a strong internal infrastructure that promotes attorney growth, development, and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise in family law and a client-first approach to advocacy.

Duties:

• Handle all phases of family law litigation, including divorce, custody, child/spousal support, and asset division

• Draft legal pleadings, discovery, and settlement agreements

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze relevant laws and precedents

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials with effective oral and written advocacy

• Provide strategic legal counsel tailored to each client's circumstances

• Work in collaboration with paralegals, legal assistants, and other support staff for case preparation

• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines efficiently

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio

• 2-7 years of experience in family law litigation

• Demonstrated ability to handle contested family law matters from start to finish

• Adept in courtroom procedures and oral argumentation

• Capable of maintaining professionalism in emotionally charged legal matters

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• State Bar Admission in Ohio (in good standing)

Skills:

• Outstanding legal research and writing proficiency

• Clear, empathetic, and persuasive communication skills

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities

• Technologically competent with legal research and case management tools
