Duties:

• Advocate for clients in legal proceedings related to divorce, custody, visitation, spousal support, and asset division

• Prepare, draft, and review pleadings, motions, and family law agreements

• Conduct hearings, depositions, and court appearances as necessary

• Perform in-depth legal research and apply findings to case strategy

• Offer empathetic, solution-oriented legal guidance to clients

• Coordinate effectively with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to manage case progress and documentation

• Utilize legal technology platforms to track and manage caseloads

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

• Minimum 2 years of focused experience in family law litigation

• Proficiency in preparing for and conducting contested court proceedings

• Demonstrated ability to handle a substantial caseload independently

• Commitment to ethical advocacy and client-centered service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio

Skills:

• Strong courtroom presence and litigation capabilities

• Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills

• Adept in using legal research databases and case management systems
