Location:

• Danbury, Connecticut

Duties:

• Manage a variety of complex civil litigation matters including business, probate, and real estate disputes

• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation from case development to trial

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents

• Engage in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and hearings

• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, courts, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with litigation team on strategy, case evaluation, and resolution efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience

• Demonstrated trial advocacy skills and experience handling cases independently

• Strong knowledge of Connecticut state court litigation procedures

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative legal team
