Job Overview:
A law firm located in New York City, NY is actively seeking a Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney through a legal recruiting agency. This role involves managing end-to-end residential real estate transactions, including representation of buyers, sellers, and lending institutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in handling closings, contracts, and title matters with precision and professionalism.

Duties:

• Handle residential real estate closings from contract to post-closing

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts of sale and related legal documents

• Represent clients in transactions involving purchases, sales, and financing

• Communicate with clients, realtors, banks, and title companies

• Conduct due diligence, including title review and resolution of title issues

• Coordinate and attend closings in person

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of New York

• Prior experience in residential real estate law

• Comfortable managing a high volume of real estate closings

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously under tight deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

• Proficiency in real estate transaction management

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Familiarity with title reports and lender documentation

• Client-focused approach and ability to foster strong relationships

• Skilled in resolving routine and complex legal issues in real estate
