Duties

• Interpret statutes and apply them to case facts.
• Negotiate with adversaries and obtain discovery.
• Conduct and manage meet and confers regarding discovery.
• Review documents obtained in discovery.
• Draft legal documents such as requests and notices.
• Prepare documents for depositions and take depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs.
• Prepare for mediation and arbitration.
• Participate in settlement conferences.
• Present at team meetings and schedule hearings.

Requirements

• Admitted to a state bar and in good standing.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in consumer protection law preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) preferred.
