Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including case evaluation, discovery, law and motion practice, and trial preparation

• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence

• Participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings

• Work directly with clients to provide strategic legal guidance and updates

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies

• Manage caseload with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and court requirements

Requirements:

• Admission to the California State Bar, or awaiting bar exam results

• Demonstrated interest in civil litigation

• Prior experience in a legal practice setting is preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active or pending membership in good standing with the State Bar of California

Skills:

• Superior legal research and writing abilities

• Persuasive oral advocacy

• Professional judgment and discretion in client interactions

• Proficiency in legal software and case management tools
