The role involves advocating for clients in complex consumer fraud, data privacy, and breach of warranty class action cases. Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Draft and file complaints for data breach cases efficiently.
• Draft and revise legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and memoranda.
• Participate in strategy sessions and case planning meetings.
• Review and analyze discovery materials to identify key evidence.
• Write and research pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Attend hearings and stay updated on relevant legal precedents.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare for expert depositions.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in Consumer Class Action or Data Privacy areas.
• At least three years of litigation experience.
• Outstanding legal research skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Experience in mediation; class action and appellate experience a plus.
• Ability to type at least 40 wpm.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
