Duties

• Draft pleadings and briefs
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
• Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
• Review documents for litigation preparation
• Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Submit filings to the court

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Nevada, Utah, Idaho, or Montana; multiple admissions preferred
• 3+ years of insurance coverage experience
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• Bar admission in Nevada, Utah, Idaho, or Montana

Skills

• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
