Duties:
Oversee legal disputes from case assignment through resolution
Prepare and file pleadings, memoranda, and formal correspondence
Represent clients in both live and remote court proceedings
Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case developments
Examine title reports to identify and address issues such as:
Vesting discrepancies
Priority concerns
Legal description inconsistencies
Clerical or scrivener's errors
Formulate curative actions for resolving title defects outside of litigation
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a civil litigation docket
Experience in title resolution or real estate-related legal issues
The capacity to maintain detailed documentation and client communication
Willingness to work in a hybrid setting following training (some remote flexibility may be considered)
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in California
Admission to all Federal District Courts in California, or willingness to apply
Admission in Arizona and/or Nevada is considered advantageous
Member in good standing with applicable State Bar(s)
Skills:
Strong legal research, drafting, and litigation skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple active matters
Clear and professional oral and written communication
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Detail-oriented with a focus on legal accuracy and procedural compliance
