The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to effectively represent clients, providing top-notch legal advice and strategic solutions. The role demands strong research, writing, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage complex cases with efficiency.

Duties:

• Draft a variety of legal documents including motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case development
• Represent clients in court, presenting motions and advocating during legal proceedings
• Advise clients on legal matters, offering tailored strategies to address their needs
• Oversee paralegals and administrative staff, managing time records, billing, client meetings, and project completion

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business litigation
• Ability to work independently while managing a significant caseload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research tools
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
• Being an active member of the local bar association preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (active membership in the local bar association preferred)
