Non-Equity Partner Litigation

Profile

A law firm seeks a dynamic and experienced Non-Equity Partner to join its fully remote team specializing in litigation. This position is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in civil litigation who are looking to provide legal counsel to existing clients while also developing new client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm's approach to defense work.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel to existing clients while strategizing to cultivate new business opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Consult with clients and industry experts to develop effective case strategies.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct document reviews and oversee the preparation of cases for trial.
• Take and defend depositions, attend motion hearings, and represent clients in litigation.
• Serve as a mentor and advisor to associate attorneys, offering guidance and oversight.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar litigation role.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.
• Commitment to meeting billing goals and contributing to the firm's success.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
