Duties:

• Conduct initial file evaluations and develop strategic litigation plans and budgets

• Analyze pleading requirements and coordinate with support staff for execution

• Draft and respond to discovery, oversee document exchange processes

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and other proceedings; provide comprehensive reporting

• Negotiate and finalize settlements; secure necessary authority when needed

• Prepare for and participate in trials when required

• Maintain consistent communication with legal support personnel to ensure case progress

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of litigation experience, with a preference for an insurance defense background

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia

• Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple matters concurrently

• Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight

• Comfortable working in a technology-enhanced, fast-paced legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must hold an active Bar license in Georgia

Skills:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities

• Technologically adept, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
