A law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing Louisville, KY office. The successful candidate will be involved in a premier litigation practice, handling sophisticated and complex matters from inception through to resolution. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with solid litigation experience, a strong work ethic, and exceptional writing abilities.

Location:

• Louisville, KY

Duties:

• Manage litigation matters from commencement to final resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, with limited supervision.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Gather relevant information from clients and manage day-to-day litigation activities.
• Defend and take fact witness depositions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and provide creative solutions.
• Assist in the development of case strategies and arguments.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of litigation experience.
• Ability to draft and argue substantive motions and briefs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute to client service excellence.
• Proven experience managing litigation cases, including handling discovery and depositions.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Kentucky and in good standing.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in Kentucky (must be in good standing).
