Job Overview

A reputable, multi-state law firm is seeking a motivated and reliable Associate Attorney to join its Litigation team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position offers an excellent opportunity for either a newly licensed attorney or a junior-level associate to develop strong litigation skills in a professional, collaborative environment. One-on-one mentorship from senior attorneys is available, along with the opportunity to manage a caseload and gain hands-on experience in courtroom advocacy and trial preparation.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal briefs, motions, and discovery requests/responses

• Participate in litigation strategy, trial preparation, and case analysis

• Appear in court for hearings and law and motion matters

• Handle depositions, including taking and defending

• Work closely with supervising partners and legal staff to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution

• Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• Strong interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy

• Should have 0-1 year of experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Nevada (or pending with intention to be admitted shortly)

Skills

• Legal research and writing
