A law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney to join its Intellectual Property Group in New York City. This position is ideal for a driven legal professional with patent litigation expertise and a background in technical fields. The role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-based environment alongside seasoned IP litigators.

Duties:

• Manage multiple IP litigation matters, overseeing all stages from initiation to resolution.
• Draft, review, and execute high-quality legal work with close attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional client services and build lasting client relationships.
• Collaborate within litigation teams, providing guidance to junior associates and utilizing support staff.
• Develop business opportunities through individual and group efforts.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal practice codes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to technical details.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active law license in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the firm practices.
• Ongoing fulfillment of license renewal and CLE requirements.

Skills:

• Proficiency in IP litigation procedures, client management, and legal research.
• Technical background in fields such as engineering or computer science is preferred.
