A respected national law firm is seeking a Transportation & General Liability Associate Attorney for its Las Vegas office. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation matters involving trucking, transportation, premises liability, and general casualty claims. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, be client-focused, and ready to take ownership of cases with a supportive, collaborative team. Location

• Las Vegas, Nevada

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

• Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and negotiations

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on legal strategy

• Communicate regularly with clients and provide case status updates

• Ensure compliance with client billing and litigation guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general liability and transportation litigation

• Experience with trucking and premises liability cases preferred

• Familiarity with insurance defense processes and client expectations

• Strong ability to manage litigation deadlines and multitask efficiently

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada

• In good standing with the Nevada State Bar

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills

• Proficiency with litigation support software and document management systems

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

• Legal project management experience is a plus
